I'm working on a research paper about the Cold War and I'm unsure whether to use a post-structuralist or a Marxist methodology. What are the key differences in their approaches to power and ideology, and how would each affect my analysis?

I'm a history major focusing on 20th-century conflicts, and for this paper, I'm examining propaganda during the Cold War. I've read some Foucault for post-structuralism and Marx for class analysis, but I'm struggling to see which framework better explains the ideological battles without oversimplifying. I've tried outlining both, but I keep going in circles on how to structure my argument.
